Hi all, as I just joined dpchallenge, I wish to use my 1st challenge to showcase my hometown, Singapore! This shot was taken during the Singapore Youth Olympics Games 2010 Opening Ceremony.
The fireworks were part of the finale of the show. Brightly lit by the intensity of the fireworks, the night was transformed into day for a previous few seconds.
While the title 'Bright Night' was to suit the challenge theme, it also represents the bright future of Sports & Singapore!
Hope you people like it =)
Any C&C greatly appreciated.

Congrations on your first entry = first ribbon...
Wonder how you get pass the security to take this pic.. .
Be friendly with the security guard uncle =)
Chat with him for awhile before taking the chance to ask him if I could go over...
His direct response was 'ok.. at your own risk'
Only 4 people including me was shooting at this area.. Nice atmosphere compared to squeezing with crowds to shoot fireworks for the past few weeks =)
Once again thanks to all for the wonderful welcome =)

Welcome to DPC with a Yellow Ribbon, on a FinePix, sheesh. This got a 9 from me. Technically great, noise is there but in basic you can't process it out.
