Gave you a 7 on this one... it's better than its score would suggest. More even lighting might have helped you, but even so, you deserved better than 5.7x.

I'm not sure but I don't think it helps that this is in B&W, I feel like the photo needs more pop or something attention grabbing

this is more macro than still life IMO...it's just a container of toothpicks although they are super clear...it just doesn't fit my idea of a still life...
