I agree with the others. I'm certainly not thinking fashion when I look at this shot. The lighting make me want to focus on the clothes. The softness and mystery created by the lighting have me much more interested in her expression.

You're right about the clothing! Exactly my wife's observation too. I'm glad you think the lighting is effective. I rather struggled with it.

Love the desat! And the lighting is very effective, half high contrast, half high key. Adds a very rich dimension. Not sure it's particularly "fashion" since the emphasis isn't as much on the clothing.
