 My friend, Bear_Music, tells me that the red object floating on the water is a buoy not a float. Not wishing to appear ignorant, I am changing the name of this shot from "Red Float" to "Red Buoy". I think I may subconsciously know that already, but I have a number of shots called "Red Buoy", and I guess I thought I would be different this time. Lesson learned. ;P

Having a dreary summer at Santa Barbara, are we? Love the image! I think that's a "buoy" though, not a "float. Specifically, a "mooring buoy"...

Whoa! This might be one of those "minimalist" things. Turn it 90 with the float at the top, and it will be totally abstract artsy. This is great, I love it.
