 A summer colt born on Assateague Island. Assateague Isalnd is a barrier island located in the state of Maryland in the United States. The ponies are wild. This guy decided to take a nap just a few feet from my spot on the beach.

Looks like he's stuck in a sand pit on a golf course. Which is, of course, highly unlikely ;-) Lovely detail on the colt; he looks young and rather fragile.

Lovely looking foal - the crop is a little too tight for my liking, but that's ok as I'm not voting in this challenge - only commenting :- )

I love how baby horses have such spindly legs and huge heads. This is just so sweet.
