about budgerigars our little charlie is a pied recessive budgie .. you wouldnt find his colourings in the wild .. i found that out after we'd bought him .. he's nearly two years old ..
There's almost a fairy tale quality to this image. Like perhaps the boy might be only on one side of the mirror or be trying to pass through to another world.

The lighting makes this shot a gem roz. The way the main subjects are highlighted against the dark background is great. The softness of the shot also adds the feeling of a special moment between your nephew and his budgie.
