This is frightening. The little bit of grain on the image almost seems to me to be lack of resolution and not a photographic technique, but otherwise a very intriguing challenge entry.
Don't beat up don ho! I have tickets in maui next tuesday. I think this shot is pretty well staged. It is interesting, and I can't wait to read about it!
Not sure if this is photojournalistic shot (for real) or not, but in any case, this is a very well done & emotional image. Great choice for B & W.

Nice photojournalistic style, but this photo, to me, represents exactly the opposite of what the challenge called for - "a photograph representing freedom". This photo does not "represent" freedom, but a lack thereof.
