Well, I have to admit I gave yours a 6 as well. Good work that just didn't grab me personally. It does seem to have appealed quite strongly to a few others, though. I'm tend to be pretty darn happy when that happens.

I think this is much more akin to the Surrealism of Man Ray than to Minimalism. I love the confusion of horizontal and vertical planes, wonderfully disorienting. I'm giving you an 8 for masquerading Surrealism as Minimalism, but I don't doubt that I love this picture.
