Many commenters asked about the bird. The Butcher's Bird aka the Hangman and hangs its prey to dry and shrink to eadible portions which he does especially during winter. I was fortunate to get this because the bird is almost of the same size as the Hangman. He usually feeds on lizards and insects.

Goed gesien en goeie werk hier. Ek hou van die beligting en kleure werk goed saam. Sommiges mag dalk se dat die "hot spots' op regterkant trek aandag af maar eintlik werk dit goed saam met die komposisie in die geval. Ek dink die realiteit van die foto was miskien een te veel vir meeste mense wat stem in 'n Free study want die foto is verseker 'n baie hoër punt werd.

Thank you Frank, and yes not your ordinary pretty landscape picture but photojournalism. I refuse to be put in a box just for a high score although I prefer to shoot landscapes I shoot as many subjects as possible. Thank you once again for your comment.
