For Dale - I cheated. This is from the top of a short flight of stairs, so I could essentially set the camera down on the top stair and still see! Woo hoo!
Well I like the fact the shallow DOF is in the foreground rather than the background. It would certainly be one of the few that followed that approach.
I don't take pictures like this. It's entirely too difficult to get down on the ground and then up again! But, I am glad that YOU take pictures like this so that I can enjoy them.
