This image was made for a very early pregnancy we lost on July 22nd, 2010, oddly enough my 39th birthday. Very difficult, even early in a pregnancy. My wife and I have a deep love for our children. Life goes on, and, as Lydia says, life is good even when it's not.

You don't need more comments on this one. It says so much more than we can express. And you expressed it all in the medium that it could really convey it although you chose the hard way.

I'm happy to present this image with a MUAIMHO award, as I am of the opinion that it was amongst the Most Under Appreciated in the challenge.
I love the balance in this image. The story it tells, or rather the mystery it creates... great contrast and tones, and brilliant use of the vignette. I gave this a 9 and honestly expected to see it in the top 10 for the challenge. You're a true inspiration Ben... keep it up.
