I really like the patch of red offsetting her lips. I really like the yin/yang thing between her hair and the background. I recognize it as perfect textbook butterfly lighting. Compositionally I really dig this shot. But I'm bugged a little by the model, I feel she looks sort of dear-in-the-headlights stunned.
I think it's just she needs a different facial expression. But I also keep wondering if there were a little more directionality to the light if it would soften her severity a little bit. |
