I am not a very original thinker so when this challenge was announced I immediately thought of my entry for the previous one this has been one of my more well recieved shots so I asked Sofia would she like to do a re-imagining of the shot. It's never hard to get her in front of the camera, so I asked her to put on a dress and go down in the yard and "twirl back and forth". Fired off about 25 shots and knew immediately upon reviewing them in Bridge that this would be the one I would use.

I echo Ken...DUDE! LOL how appropriate that i should get my first HM with a shot of Sofia...Many thanks to all for the nice (and constructive comments)

This is such a lovely picture. The slight movement of the dress just adds nicely.
Agree I also love your pic with her holding the flower. Both just so nicely done.
this is amazing- the eyes really pull u into the image, the focus on her face is so lovely and yet there are details in the OOF areas as well that i think i can make out- what a lovely little angel you have! and the pattern is amazing- with the flair out of the skirts... you must be so proud of your princess- and yes i say princess because i can't imagine my little one ever not being my little princess so i imagine all parents feel the same about their little ones!
not to be self-conceited, but i really do like this picture a lot! colors and clearity, i do wish you could get that ribbon though! oh well... you got 4th though!!!! :D
Jason, this image is gorgeous of Sofia. I love the way you have processed it, composed the image, and your use of DOF is super. I hope to this one ends on the front page. It is splendid! (not voting)
