Good pose for the subject. Good lighting and depth of field. If possible, it would have been nice to have him take the camera off his shoulder.

he appears to be one of those guys that you worry about as if "does he really know what he is doing?"

This is a tight street portrait. Even w/o the title the subject appears to be someone into water sports (hmm, but with the Canon strap, a fellow photographer...?). Well composed, nice bokeh but can still tell its in a water environment. Nice job.
