The rules are the rules, but this is still an excellent image that captures the viewer's attention and fires the imagination.
Very well done!

Sorry to see you lost your ribbon, but I guess, rules are rules. I had a feeling this would happen with image for some reason. First entry a blue...sometimes it makes me wonder if the person read all the rules. Great image in any case

No worries - this was gorgeous and would have won without the texture. Rules are rules but just because it didn't meet certain criteria doesn't mean it diminishes how gorgeous it is. Can't wait to see more from you!

There's a forum thread about this shot, where you'll find a link to the photo's page on Flickr, where you'll see that it's titled "Librodized IV."

Interesting comments on this one. To me the face looks deformed, like too much liquify. Eyes too big, mouth too small. Everyone sees beauty differently.
Not meant to be a put down, just my take.

The framing that the sheer drape creates is brilliant! It's like a window to peer into ... This was my favorite of the challenge....so pleased (but not surprized) to see it do so well. BRAVO!!!!!

The stray hairs on her forehead and over the beads spoil this otherwise good photo.

This is a stunning portrait. I think the fabric and the jewelery really add to the photo, and the softness on the skin is perfect. I think the processing in the eyes is a bit much though. Still, one of the best in the FS.

Oustanding work....composition...high contrast...the tones...the bringing out of the eyes. Simply outstanding beautiful image. My only 10 in this challenge.

I love the porcellain feel to her skin....would have been even more impressive if the stray hair was cloned out....very good work!

Not crazy about the overly-processed eyes, but a stunning image nonetheless. This should place quite well.

Like the composition, tones and use of veil... but the dodging on eyes could have been even more subtle... this looks a tad artificial for my tastes...

Amazing shot. Love her eyes. It's a very doll like photo. If I had to nit pick.. The area next to her face is distracting with all the different shade changes (I hope that makes sense). Still a really good shot.

absolutely amazing- the reflections in the eyes are - magical -- beautifully captured!

Siena will score well. Her eyes (maybe a SMIDGE overdone) are captivating the the surrounds work well with her. (not voting)
