 A feather that my Macaw dropped this morning.
Manual Micro Nikkor 55mm f2.8 @ f5.6, Ext tube M, no filter, hand held, sunlight from the upper left. Mag ratio 1/1, crop sensor. The pictured area is actually about the size of my thumbnail.
Processing, crop to screen ratio, make it brighter.

I guessed this was from your Macaw even before I read your notes ;-) Striking color and such a strong pattern, like one of those optical illusion things you can't look at for too long.
