we have a pond near our home, and these little dragonflies are everywhere :) - I have learned to be patient and just watch nature in a whole new perspective as I shoot the bugs and wildlife in my backyard.
The last 2 months I have finally gotten back into photography as an art form, and not as much as a capture the moment - candid snapshot type of photos.
I've been motivated by my husband that I am creative, he bought me my new lens for Christmas (70mm-200mm w/stab), and motivated by friends who enjoy what I capture. I'm really happy with this image, no matter what score I will recieve this week .. it's just great to be back and motivated once again :)

I love the detail in the wing on the left side of the image. That is where my attention is drawn to, which some may not like, but I think it works ok in this photo.
