My laptop screen may not be calibrated properly but the pp halo effect around this image is distracting. That said I really like your imagination and execution so this gets a 7 from me.

ETA: I've re-looked at this image on my work monitor (calibrated) and can no longer see the halo so I'm bumping my vote to 8.
