 Cranesbill geranium flowers after the petals have fallen. Until I took a macro shot I didn't realize how sparkly the stamens are.

Had the 36mm extension tube on, handheld.

PP - rotated a bit, cropped, levels, white balance, reduced gamma, increased saturation and contrast, resized, sharpened, USM, added border.

Mary,

I find that photos like this do okay on DPC, but never score as high as I would like to see them. I REALLY LIKE THIS! I think smallish flowers with limited DOF can have great POP to them, and you have certainly done this pair justice. Border treatment is tops as well.
