Dumbo left a comment:"like a scene from a movie!" That is my goal and I am happy that Dumbo let me know I did it.
However, I expected a better score above 6 and I belived that there were other nice "gun" photos in DPC, so I searched them:
Comparing my photos with them, I think my photo is the same level as these ones, but the gap between my photo and these photos is not small(except the last one) which means my entry is not as good as I thought.:(
So I generalize some reasons:
1. Photos not excellent get lower score in FS.
2. It is too violent and disturbing for some people.
3. The role's expression is bad.(I admit that I am not a good actor.)
4. The picture quality is not good. You can see some noise in the photo.
5. Over processed or bad post processed. I usually gets commnets like this.(but I didn't see such comments this time, maybe voters just didn't speak out.)
6. There are so many similar images in movies and internet, people are just tired of it.
7. Weak concept with bad title. People may think "Gun is dangerous, so what?"

I thought this picture is very cool, but when I knew some DPC member's sad story about gun, I felt that it is not cool at all and it is childish to take such a picture. I'll never take gun pictures unless I have special purpose.
