 Recently while treking through the Ruaha National park we saw a zebra covered in Oxpecker birds. While the other Zebras in the herd also had some birds on their backs, this one was covered, perhaps because he had a large open wound on his neck.

Very cool shot, Scott, if somewhat gross after reading your note about the open wound. Those red eyes seem a bit demonic.
