Very good idea. Since the colors of the glitter are so stark, which is okay, I would have selected the glitter, inversed it and used levels to darken the background in its original color. Of course, forgive me, I am suggesting a different picture. Still the idea is supreme !
Sorry but your picture came in right behind the purple mushroom, I had to laugh because the person looking at the light made me think he/she had tried those purple mushroomz
i liek your idea here but i find the refection in the glas eyes distracting rather then adding to the composition. I think i would have saurated those as well to have the emphasis on the lamp.
