Attic - a bunch of iris, using the copying light but also trying to bounce the light from the canon 550 off a white board ... happy with this photo

I hate flower shots.... But I love this one! Incredible focus and detail. The color saturation and contrasts are great, and your composition works well .... 8

Excellent colors and composition. The black background really brings out the greens and of course, the purple. Water is nice but doesn't seem uniform. White border is ok but not needed.

I think the black backgound is a bit too much. Maybe a lighter / softer color? The IRIS is great and very well captured.

Great photo with very rich color. The black background gives it an elegant look. (The greenery on the right appears (to me) to be a bit cut-off. Doesn't quite flow right.)

Beautiful shot! Exceptional lighting & dof.
One of my favorites in this challenge! ((9))

I hope it does well, though flowers don't generally score well.

Well Done!

flowers are so over played at DPC! Regardless of this fact, you pulled this one off nicely. LOVE the lighting & the composition. I might have left out the extra greenry but thats me. good luck!
