The colors on this are perfect. Composition is fine EXCEPT the plcement of the spiny shell does not work. At first glance - it looks like french fries sticking up. The border is unwieldy at bast.

The idea is good but looks too fake for my liking. Little bit out of focus and the photo dosen't come up to well.

This is a creative shot. I get your idea. Generally, I don't mind borders, however I don't think this one works well here. Perhaps it's too big, and the opacity just seems kind of distracting.
