Challenge: The Color Purple (Advanced Editing II)
Camera: Olympus E-10
Location: "Day in the Park" Tracy, CA
Date: Jul 4, 2004
Aperture: f:4
ISO: 80
Shutter: 1/80
Galleries: Abstract, Sports
Date Uploaded: Jul 3, 2004

My thanks go to Brent Stockwell of Oakland, CA and his crew from Balloon Excelsior for allowing me the opportunity for this shot. It is from the "envelope" or inside of the hot air balloon as it is getting inflated and the air heated prior to flight. Taken hand held, with normal level, saturation and contrast adjustments, with USM to finish it off.

People taking pictures in background distracting. Image contains purple, but doesn't scream nor suggestingly whisper the theme of "purple" when I look at this image. Nice composition.
