Taken on the same day as my FS entry at Bombay Hook Refuge in Delaware. Very hazy/foggy morning. The birds were a little too soft so I entered the Great Egret instead of this one and another one.
This shot is enchanting. I agree totally with Melethia, the softer focus of the birds adds to the shot. I love the tonal quality - your post processing is perfect - the glow in the upper part of the photo adds to the surreal quality of this image.
Oh, I like this one quite a bit. I don't mind the birds being "soft" - it works very well here. A nice sense of play and grace and the colors are very pretty!
