Shot with Snaffles on a canoe venture. To get to the location, was a task. A canoe was borrowed and we paddled in. Unfortunately, we had to portage a few times. But so well worth it! Thanks for the great venture Susan! Shot in canoe, with tripod. Thankfully the water was calm. Helping with the sharpness factor.

Excellent find! Finding a heron's nest isn't all that hard - what is hard is getting a shot of it as they usually build them so far up in a tree top you can't get a shot. You did it! Nice job getting detail under the wings too.
