Nice finish!! I have such a spot for swimmers, as my dad was the University of Texas swimming and diving coach for years. I still remember the smell of the chlorine and the excitement as they came down the lane for the last lap.
This a great action shot i like how the water is running off his body good capture with the light pity your getting glare off his goggles its noticeable but not worth taking points off ..Congrats
Did you use Noise Ninja or something? This is one photo where noise would have added a lot more substance. I like the composition just perfect. Feels like de-noised to me.
that's a really wild shot and it puts me on the edge in terms of meeting the challenge. on one hand, it captures the action of a sport (and it does that extremely well). on the other hand, it smacks of being a set up shot (as opposed to one captured in competition). it will undoubtedly win over the dpc eye-candy crowd, but i'd prefer something caught in the wild.
it's just that it looks strobed to perfection; if i'm wrong, well, my apologies and congratulations on a killer shot...
