Thanks for the votes everyone, this was not taken at the same event as the 2nd placed shot, but at a small track and field meet here in the UK. As soon as I saw the girl hurdler I thought darn it why did mine not look into the camera.
Almost as well as the other photograph of this event. Same point of view. At the other photograph the female participant looks at fortunately for the photographer in the lens as a result of which the kijker more becomes concerned at the photograph. This photograph concentration then more radiates of the female participant.
Sharp. Clear. Centered. Symmetric. Would have given a bit more of perspective if it was taken zoomed out a little bit IMHO, OR if the actor was making eye contact. Good job regardless. 8/10.
