 This picture was taken on Canada day in Newmarket Ontario at Ferry Lake. It was about 3 jumps prior to this one when a guy lost control in the air and his bike almost landed on me! lol That could have been harsh!

Being so tightly cropped with nothing else as a frame of reference (other than clouds), the viewer has no idea how high the cyclists are. They could be 2 feet off the ground, they could be 15 feet. We don't know. Perhaps a treeline at the bottom or something useful in determining the height. Composition also looks peculiar as if the guy on top has his bike sitting on the guy below.

I would disagree with digistoune here (sorry!) and suggest instead of lightening the cyclists, how about darkening them in post processing to make them appear as silhouettes? I think that would look cool.

Very interesting capture! You did a very good job with freezing the action in this shot. IMO a flash might have aided in bringing more focus on your subject. However, not knowing how close you were able to get to the action, a flash might not have been feasable. You might try dodging one of the cyclists for more impact or perhaps try the 'shadow and highlight' tool in PS CS (assuming you have it).

Now that's a pretty cool capture, my friend. You have now risked life and limb for DPC...LOL! Have you tried sharpening the kids up a bit? :o)
