 Park bench overlooking ocean. Used gradiant tool to convert to BW, added some tonal contrast, and then adjusted levels. Sized and saved for web.

My first thought on this image was "I want more landscape". Not because it is a landscape challenge, but if there was a decent amount more of landscape a deeper feeling of solitide or even loneliness would happen. I dont know if that would be possible with your location - just saying from a viewers perspective. No vote - just commenting.

Beautiful imagery here. I love the mood and the title expresses this so very well. I'm intrigued by the evenness of the tones, as it adds to the serenity of the overall picture. Nice.
