 This picture was taken at Barnafossar in south west Iceland. The name has a significant meaning, Barnafossar means "Children’s waterfalls" refering to a tragic old story. Two children drowned there while searching for their parents.

The camera was tripot mounted and a grad filter was used (two stops)

Nice strong contrast, perhaps a cranked up a little too much for me, though overall I think this entry should do well.

(23/38) I do like the wild lines and shapes that the water is forming. Feels a bit too sharp though.
