Dude. This is awesome. I'm delighted and surprised to see this get a ribbon here. I'm also delighted and surprised that this is yours. Not that I didn't think you took beautiful photos like this I just didn't think you would submit them here. Glad you took the risk and it paid off.

Well done Shannon and well deserved ribbon. Color combination is amazing and the motion blur is spot on for the occasion.

Good to see you on the front page again Shannon - congrats on the red

This is a great shot, very happy to see it front page.

I would have never pegged this as yours which really makes me love it that much more. Just outstanding. Bravo!!!

Way to go, Shannon. I gave two 10's, that ended up in the hands pointandshoot and clive patrick nolan, then three 9's, of which this was one. So you're my high pick of the mainstream shots, which isn't too surprising since this is pretty fringe for a ribbon winner, with its blur and all. I especially admire your willingness to leave the negative space at the bottom.

Great work, I really loved this one!

This is just AWESOME! Only minor nitpick is that blue border, it's a little distracting.9

Stunning image.....hope this one gets the blue! A 10 from me and a favorite.

Didn't feel it told me a story about zen.
Post actions
Very cool! The only thing that would make it better for me, would be the see through border instead of black after the blue.
Post actions
cool. the border is a bit distracting to me though. Love the motion blur of this and colours 8

I like this a lot. Silence and movement. I might have made the foreground (bottom) a tighter crop.

Great shot, my favorite of the challenge. The motion is really well rendered, and the colours are full of harmony. Love it!

I really like the colors and movement in this shot

Voted earlier - this is a stellar shot! Now that I have some time to comment I wanted to say why I love this shot (and favoriting it too). I love the brilliant colors that pop visually off of the blacks & blues of the water. While the Koi fish are not in sharp focus, I love how the sweep and swirl of the motion shows pleasing curves and a dreamy feel. With the movement it is almost like brush strokes. It is very impressionistic - hmmm, impressionistic zen and very well done I might add. This would be a wonderful print to hang on the wall.

Wonderful processing....I love the quiet movement, colors, and composition (8)

bound to do well - this looks great

I just wish the subject (fish) was a little smaller compared to blue background. I really want to see more of blue and the fish in one of the corners. It would really make it my top pick for this challenge. Never-the-less, I still like it a lot!8.

Lovely blur. It works so well with this subject.

Gorgeous abstract! Love the movement, though I don't know how Zen it is. Well, maybe. Swimming is certainly a big part of the essence of being a fish.
Post actions
Oh wow. What a gorgeous painterly image. One of my favorites. I'd love to see this (without the border) on a HUGE canvas. It's magical.
Post actions
Really excellent photo, I just love the movement and the colours. Good luck.
