I must give many thanks to one Sean Cambell who assisted me in this shot in both helping develop ideas aband assisting with the shooting. I used purple medical gloves on a static ball. The blue on the base is made by a kick light with blue gels on it.

Very nice and magical. The gloves added that extra touch. Since you will keep this special image, I would consider taking the clone tool and removing some of the wrinkles. This will up the value of this very creative study.
Clever idea and nifty title. I'm guessing he has gloves to simplify the hands and hide any human blemishes. Good plan. This makes them appear more mysterious and keeps the image simpler. I like this very much.
Nice focus and great contrast. The black background really makes the image pop! Lighting is excellent as well as I know how easy it is to overexpose these types of shots.
