This was taken in the same setup as this photo, but with a slightly different approach. Rather then catch the bubbles in mid-air, something that is conceived unrealistic, how about just catch the bubble landing, simply disrupting the surface. I love the B&W conversion here, and the silhouette I managed with my lighting setup (no photoshop, yay!) Lighting setup is similar to my "Out Of The Ordinary" submission last week but lighting is focused more by reflection from the white backdrop then back-lighting, giving a stronger vignette giving the photo a tad less contrast and a bit more detail.
I miss the "Zen" challenge every year and so I wanted to catch this one early, shot it the night the challenge opened!
PP:
1. Noiseware Pro for Noise reduction
2. Healing brush for editing out some smudges on the glass
3. Curves for a bit more contrast
4. Hue/Sat for B&W
Simple editing...
Thanks for the votes, let this be a good DPL season this year!

4 Sorry this is a nice shot but nothing zen here for me I want to jump up and grab the glass before it spills. In another challenge this would have scored higher
