Taken at the Littleton, CO historical museum, the museum is free but asks for donations and is a great place to take children. They usually have a blacksmith working and people in period clothing working in different areas around the farm. I took a shot like this one on a cloudy day and it is much better because the detail in the window is not so blown out, I went out to try to duplicate the shot but so much tougher with the harsh lighting but I still like the shot. Likely only a mid five image but hopefully a few people enjoy it.

This must have been a tricky photo to obtain. I don't really like the blown out window, but on the other hand realize that the inside wouldn't be nicely exposed otherwise.
Maybe if the curtains had been drawn, you would still be getting the same directional lighting, but the contrast between the window and everything else wouldn't be so drastic.
