Your picture seems to have a very sharp focus, there might be a little too much contrast that pushed the eyes to look odd and I see a red blanket or is it my screen. Nice subject, good shot ! Thanks for sharing!!
A most excellent image tho were it mine. I might employ a bit of Shadow/Highlights to define the head and ears a bit more and crop some to place the eyes further into the top right corner rather than centered.
