Another example of the short lived APS film format. I bought this in '99 when my wife and I went on our honeymoon trip and realized upon arriving that I failed to bring my beloved Olympus XA.
Nothing terribly noteworthy about this camera aside from using an orphaned film format.
Well, nothing terribly noteworthy except you bought it on your honeymoon! :) The whole APS thing seems like quite the fiasco. Completely passed me by - I had always used 35mm.
I never could figure out why that attempt was made?

The Amateur Photo System, or APS, was an attempt to replace the failed Disc film format of the 1980s,
which was created to replace the failed 110 film format of the 1970s,
which was created to replace the pretty good 126 Instamatic format of the 1960s.
Quite an interesting read at the above link. A format created with the intention of shoving it down the throat of the industry and consumer so more money could be made.
