congratulations on a fine image that did very well in competition.

The Free Study category is a hotly contested one and to score as high as you did is indeed something to be proud of.

I've gazed at this for a while. I admire the luscious colors & the fine detail. To my eye, the interesting part of this flower is the purple tips emerging from the pink buds, so for me the focal point is off by just a little bit. That's why I gazed at it for so long, I was trying to make it be about the texture details.

Lovely image. Needs to be focused on points of the ones on the very edges of the flower. Otherwise this is just 100%
