Taken with a borrowed 75-300mm canon lens at 125mm.
The wind was quite strong and none of the 40 or so pictures I took with this lens that evening was really sharp. So much for my new ballhead that's supposed to carry 8kg (17 pounds).

I really like the different shading of the smoke in this picture, going between grey, orange and red.
I am sure you know that this picture is very grainy, which kind of detracts for me. Interestingly the mountains do not appear to have as much grain. Maybe cropping towards the bottom of half of the picture would make the noise less overwhelming.
