There is something about this building that fascinates me. I shot the textures on the front door with its partially painted over lock for a macro (without bugs or flowers) challenge.
As for my decision to shoot it for this challenge? Well, I reckon that when vegetation is entwined with the structure to the extent that it has subsumed the building then that vegetation has become part of the architecture... and it is bizarre. I love the various textures here and the splashes of red and the angle of the rightmost shutter also really add something IMO.
