Taken at lake hefner, in Oklahoma city. I usually hate this lake because it is INCREADIBLY urban, but I feel like this one came together pretty well. I did a lot of processing to make the sunset darker and more moody while keeping the green in the leaves.

WOW, What detail and colors. It is almost surreal. This is a 10 and I don't give out 10's very often. I hope you win. What kind of camera did you use. Email me if you get a chance after contest.
This is an excellent contradiction to the one third rule. Sky and lake equally beautiful. I love the back lit leaves at center top and the colors are awesome. The fill lighting really helps as well. Good luck on this.
Good idea, but the over-processed. The colors are just too weird and that one blue leaf in the upper right corner is very distracting. Also over-sharpened (see the halo around the leaves in the middle?)
There's something photoshop about this image. Looks unreal, not surreal but unreal. I think it's been doctored too much. Otherwise, if it were a bit more natural looking (instead of looking like shiny plastic), it would be a surreal image.
Really nice natural framing to this shot
well done
good luck with the challange
the sun's reflexion on the water looks ever so slightly burnt out
still a good image
And we have ourselves a... winner!! Seriously, if there was no word stronger than "perfect" because of a lack of need, I really think we have a situation here. Congratulation for (I hope) a blue ribbon. In my opinion, maybe the best photo ever on DPC. (10)
