Into the light at sunset with a Manual 400mm Sigma APO.
Hand held, basic edit, cropped to about 1/3 of the original image. Shot from the driver's seat of my work truck while on a side road side trip on the way home from work.
Most beautiful, and the bird looks great in profile. In fact, I wonder if the composition would have worked with the bird in any other position. Good use of thirds too.
