I'm liking the architectural forms and futuristic, or maybe mc escher-ish, feel of this. The way the columns are cropped makes me think the background is a border, but I can't quite figure out how you accomplished the offset of the two rectangles. Regardless, a well done study of structure, texture and form.
Reminds me of the old 8" floppy diskettes I used in the very old days of computers, but with more texture and pinned down by ... I have no idea what ;-) Kind of intriguing, really.
