I had to google this one but didn't come up with any good results. What exactly is a sewing egg?

I like this picture - it reminds me of exploring my grandma's house and opening up drawers to find little knick knacks and quaint objects.

THIS IS NICE! I really enjoy this; what a wonderful job you've done in show casing the sewing eggs; the lace and the thimbles really add to it and the browns are a lovely tone - very well done!

This shot has some unnecessary tension due to the bigger egg on top of the composition. The inverted position adds even more tension. The thimbles could also use a more careful placement.
