I really like how this turned out - if I may say so myself.

I cropped and rotated, favoring the line of the feathers. Used Nik Tonal Contrast, which brings out detail, then resized and used it again. Used Nik Reflector Effects - Silver to shift the light, used a bit of Fractalius and faded it a lot, then Perfectum for smoothing.
