 The time of day was crucial - just as it was turning from dark to dawn. Set the kids off to school and then ran back to get the camera and tripod.

I figured this might be yours. I'd be willing to bet your shot was taken within minutes of my own snowy morning shot, just south of DFW airport. I'm kicking myself for not bringing the SLR with me that day.

You guys have gotten the snow this year haven't you? We got a little so the kids got a chance to play in it one day. This is really pretty. I like that you chose not to overdo the tones of blue. The glow of the lights is nice.
