Wonderful shot. I like the b&w, and the composition. I particularly like the contrast of the sharp line of the icicle and the soft round bokeh. And the little star glints on the ice are the icing on the cake.
All I can say is this should have been in the 6's, I think the voters past by too quickly.
I like the extreme negative space, the little bokeh dots in the background and the creamy transitions. I think the b/w conversion was spot on as well.
The only negatives I can find is that there appears to be a slight halo around the ice, probably from sharpening. It's very minor though and more of a nit than anything. The other thing, as long as I'm critiquing ;), is I find the dark line in the center area a bit distracting because of the contrast it makes with the lighter colors. Maybe a slightly different angle would have eliminated it.
