I don't understand what this has to do with the military. The photo certainly suits the challenge however.

the color loses a lot of the punch this could have. When we solder the color of the flame as it surrounds the metal is nice to watch. This color choice makes the flame too bright to appreciate. Love the instinct to go to the torch though.

I think this loses something in the sepia tones. Personally I think a full colour picture would have demanded a much higher score.
