rotate 90 degrees>scale to fit>difference
flatten>brightness+150,contrast+150
duplicate>high pass>overlay>flatten
flip vertical>overlay
flatten , sharpen, resize, stw.
It's the scaling of the rotated layers to fit that makes the woven look.
